My proficiency level is beginner. I have some expierence with the Rosetta Stone software (for Mandarin)for a short time.
I am learning Mandarin mostly for career advancement as well as personal desires to learn an ancient and fascinating language and culture.
I would like to build and then improve on all aspects of the language.
I can dedicate 1-3 hours a week without major inconvenience .
I am looking for a teacher that will treat this as more of an experience to help someone learn a lesson rather then someone just trying to make some easy cash. The teacher should be understanding and willing to work with a beginner.
