I have very basic knowledge in Mandarin, i.e both spoken and written. I work for a MNC and my regional boss thought it would be a good idea to strengthen my Mandarin so that it will open up opportunities to work in China, Taiwan and any other country in Asia that speaks the language. I can dedicate one and a half hours, twice a week. However, sometimes I need to travel for work so I also need the flexibility to temporary postpone classes and pick it up again when I return. I need a patient teacher, but strict.

I am a 17 year old student living in Toronto for the month of September. I am currently taking a gap year and plan to travel to China for 3 months. I have virtually NO experience whatsoever in Mandarin, but would like to cram as many possible lessons in as short a time as mentally possible (ideally 4/hours or + per day, weekends and weekdays). It is my intention to gain a foundation in the Mandarin language before going on my expedition. I would like to enroll starting as soon as possible to the 31st of September
I am looking for a teacher who can commit to as much teaching time as possible, who is a native Mandarin speaker, and who is easy going and affable.
