Actually I had informally studied Japanese language when I was still in a Japanese company. But I still consider myself as a beginner. That's why when I transferred here in Manila, I want to continue studying that language for my career advancement. I wish I could take Japanese proficiency exam (for level 3) by December 2006.
I am currently working in a call center, but I can spend 2 hours (7am-9am or 6pm-8pm) everyday, except Sundays, for the class. The said schedule is my preferred one, but I can still adjust if it's really needed.
Ab out the teacher, of course I am looking for the expert one, someone who could help me to become competitive in the field of Japanese Language.

I am looking to teach English in Japan starting inJanuary 2007. I will be returning to the states in the beginning of August 2006 and wish to learn enough basic Japanese to get me around the country. I have no experience in speaking the Korean language. I am looking dedicate 3 nights a week until I leave for Japanese. I've had 24 credit hours of Japanese language study - 8 hours of Elementary Japanese at my home school in the US and 16 hours of lower intermediate Japanese at the Tokyo International University.
That being said, I'll say that I'm a bit rusty since it's been 2 years since I was in Japan studying. I'm looking to possibly work my way up back to, and beyond if possible, my previous language level. I'm intending to continue my official education in Japanese in hopes of becoming fluent.
I' m primarily interested in the spoken langauge, though any help on the written would be appreciated.
I've found it discouraging trying to find tutors in my area, so I'm willing to work over the internet. I have access to the internet as well as to a scanner and anything probably anything else necessary.
