I took an 8 week night course for ASL 1, so I know the basics. I LOVE learning the language, so I tried to do a credited course at the collegel level (ASL II), but due in part to my fear of formal education classes, I was floundering. I would do better one on one or even a few people in a class. If you are currently working with a few students, and I could join you in that, that would be great. I must revise for a language exam in June 2011, but my ultimate goal is business fluency. I am a beginner/inte rmediate and have spent a total of 8 months living in Japan.

I am looking for a tutor for the summer of 2011 and into the fall semester. I am a student attending university and I have recently completed Japanese I. I'm trying to become fluent in the language and I would like to start in June. My grammar, conversation and vocabulary are lacking. I plan on taking Japanese 2 or 3 at my institution in the spring of 2012 depending on how much I can learn in the summer and fall. I am currently using the book Japanese for busy people 1 (Romanized) and I would like to complete my studies with it before moving on.
