I have lived in Spain for five years when I was younger which helped me to pick up the tongue for the language. I took spanish through junior High and High School adn have not used it much until March of last year when I was hired to live and work in Spain. I am currently in Winnipeg until December/Janu ary time period. Although I can 'get by' while living in Spain, I see myself having an issue in the workplace because I am not as proficient as I would like to be. I would dedicate whatever it would take for me to feel more comfortable having a conversation in Spanish. I am looking for someone who can teach me after 1600 during the work week but I could be flexible with that if needed.

I am a 17 year old high school graduate and am planning on traveling to Ecuador for 2 months in 2009. In order to do this I must learn Spanish, a language that I currently have no knowledge of. I am hoping to do one or two lessons a week between now and the time I leave (March).
In terms of the type of teacher I am looking for, it is someone who is fun yet can still keep me on task as well as someone who is patient with me. I am a pretty quick learner and dedicated to everything I do because of this I hope to be able to pick up the language quite quickly and achieve a fair level of proficeincy with the language.
