Greetings!
I have recently finalized some plans to move down to Costa Rica (and visit family in Mexico on my way) for the coming year. This has of course, led me to search out a starting grasp on the Spanish language before I tackle it face-on when I get there! So far, I am attending a weekly class through the school board that is helpful, but lacks the emphasis on conversationa l Spanish that I am most eager to learn. And, with my departure date coming up very quickly (December 9th), I decided the best route to give me that boost would be some one-on-one lessons with a tutor.
Ide ally, I would like someone who is friendly and enthusiastic, and can focus me in on the basics of conversationa l Spanish that will make it a little easier for me to continue learning while immersed in the language. I would like to spend about 12 hours with a tutor, over the course of the next 8 weeks until my departure.
