I have been learning for about 1.5 years but that was 12 years ago, so you could call me a beginner.
I would like to learn so I can travel, more for relaxation than for business.
I need improvement across the board.
I can give 3 hours per week, but do need the teacher to visit me either at home or in my office. Lessons should be one-on-one.
My previous teacher was an excellent example to use. She was female, young, fluent in English and not afraid to push me hard, harder than I wanted to go in fact.

Live in East Cobb, Marietta, GA but work in Kennesaw, across from Kennesaw State University. I desire mix of class and private assistance. Require instruction north of 285-perimeter . Would prefer early morning or late afternoon during the week. Can work it on Saturday morning.
I know some Spanish - ??2 out of 10?? Lot of desire. Need to work on verbal communication because most of study in the past has been solo. Desire complete verbal/readin g/writing skills but verbal is most in need.

Hi-
We are looking for a Mandarin teacher for our 6 year old daughter. She has had one year from at the Chinse Language School of Connecticut. We just moved to Atlanta and have been unable to find a class for children her. 3 Other moms have expressed interest as well, although their children have had no experience... but our daughter doesn't member much so a class would be possible.
Our goal is to start her ASAP with someoone who has experience teaching non-native beginmners who are children and can make it a fun experience. She LOVED her classes, Chinese New Year, etc. (playing bingo in Chinese was her favorite thing!)If a class forms, then it can meet at our house, but we want to start 1 on 1 as soon as possible, as she can hardly remember tones, family names, etc. and we don't want her to 'lose' everything she learned We live off of West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead.
