I have a BA in Communication from Trinity University. I have been studying French, Spanish, and German at night at Tarrant County College NE campus. I have 4 semesters in each language. My husband and I are beginning learners and we plan to come to Barcelona for a month in March. We are seeking a private tutor for a couple of hours a day, 3 days a week. We want to learn basic conversation and useful phrases for getting around the bus systems, airport, restaurants, etc. We are looking for a tutor who will provide adequate learning material and hands on experiences out in Barcelona.

I am a beginner. I want to be able to speak different languages for employment purposes and just to be able to help translate for people who don't speak english. I also want to be able to teach my children a different language. I have at least 2-3 hours a day, that I can dedicate for language lessons. I have been trying to learn spanish from the past three years, but have had to stop due to various reasons. I have never actually gone beyond the 1st chapter, hence my level of knowledge in spanish is rudimentary.
Staying in Abu Dhabi, working in Dubai. Free after work hours (6PM to 8.30PM) or on the weekends (fri/sat).
Want to learn live, in person, because I believe that the presence of a teacher makes a lot of difference. The person should be able to guide me from the very beginning to the end, and the teachings should be from various aspects of life - not the standard text book course, which I feel is not worth.
