Hi, my name is Barrett. I am a native English speaker and wish to learn Japanese. I tried to learn on my own, but it was too frustrating. I am married to a Japanese woman, and many people ask, 'Why doesn't she teach you?' However we tried that and it doesn't work. I would say I am intermediate: I can read and write Hiragana and some Katakana, I was in Japan for two weeks in October of this year so I was fully immersed, I know a wide vocabulary but mainly simple objects and phrases, and I can listen very well but I am not good at speaking fast. I would hope to have private tutoring once or twice a week on weekends (I work during weekdays). I live in Winter Park (very close to Orlando). I would like to be taught by a native Japanese person who grew up and visits now and then. I have a good ear and a very fast learner (as long as I can hear the language!). When I was in Japan I learned an incredible amount in two weeks, but sadly I had to leave and how I am very modivated to learn Japanese! Please contact me!

hello!
i'm tina and i am a year 7 student, i have been learning japanese for 8 years but i recently have moved schools so i can't study japanese any more, so i am hoping that you might be interested in teaching me.
i know quite alot of japanese like for example:
my hirigana and numbers, i know how to write them, and my greetings and basic conversation sentences.
if you were able to teach me, i would like to learn possibly 2-4 hours a week?
