I want to maintain and improve my existing Spanish abilities while living in the US.
I would like to focus on advanced grammer, professional vocabulary, and commom native Spanish speakers' sayings and phrases.
I 'd prefer 45 minute - 1 hour lessons once a week and weekly homework assignments. I'd also prefer a classroom or group learning setting.
I 'd like lessons to be given primarily in Spanish with occassional English explanations. Teacher should be a native speaker and educated in Spanish language education or a graduate of similar university course work. Instructor should also be fluent in English.

My wife and I will be going to France on a vacation in January 2008. I have been to France twice before. I learned some very basic phrases such as greetings. I would like to learn more so that I can better order at restuarants, communicate with hotel staff and to have some conversations with French people that we meet. My wife is busy studying and won't be able to take lessons with me.
