Hi there! MY name is Abbey and I am 23 years old. I am currently living in America as I am an american citizen. However, My boyfriend of 3 years is German and we are planning a future together. I would like to learn German along with other languages but for right now.... German is my main focus. I would like to communicate with his non english speaking family and get along the day to day life in Germany. He is living in Dublin so I will be joining him for 2 months come February. I was hoping to pick up some classes to help me along the way. I am willing to dedicate a lot of time to this quest as it is very important for me. This will be my second year of german through Powerglide. I had a great tutor last year, but she moved away to the west coast, and i would really like to sit down with someone to help me learn! I am a Beginner,want to learn german as i am really interested in learning foreign languages and German is fast becoming as one of the most widely spoken languages.
I am not very sure as to which ares need more imporvement as i have onl a hint of the language i don't really know where i will lack...maybe conversation can be a little difficult as you would need people to talk to, as far as time is concerned i think on weekends (as i am working in a software firm) a couple of hours i shall devote .
My teacher should be well qualifed and experienced in the the language i want to learn.
