I am a westernized Chinese professional man eager to pick up at least spoken Mandarin. Originally from Malaysia, I have lived in the UK, Canada, Singapore and Qatar, prior to the UAE. I am single, in my 40s, quite mobile, and anticipate that I would be working in the Far East in the future where a working knowledge of Mandarin would be very useful. I have in the past made several attempts to learn the language which have not been sustained. As such, I have substantial Mandarin learning material with me that I can use. My emphasis would be on the spoken language which I would like to have a working knowledge of in about 2 months. I do not have much of a problem with pronounciatio n but would like to acquire more vocabulary and sentence structure, as well as listening comprehension . Therefore, I seek someone who can inspire and motivate in a positive way, as well as provided general guidance in response to any queries I might have.

I am looking for a teacher to teach my 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son the following subjects:
(i) Chinese language;
(i i) Piano;
(iii) A martial art if possible.
The teacher will live in the same house and will have free time in the mornings when children are at school. The children speak English and French.
If the teacher has a driver's licence that would be better to take children to school.
Th e contract will be for 2 years and is based in Doha, Qatar.
We prefer an experienced female (woman) teacher who is less than 40 years old.
