I am looking for someone to help me learn Polish, starting at a beginner level. My fiance and his family come from Poland and while his english is excellent, the rest of the family's is not and I would love to learn Polish and teach my children how to speak polish so that we are more capable of communicating with the family. I don't need to learn to write polish (although that would be great to know) but I want to learn how to have a conversation in polish and I suppose I will need help with grammar too. I was hoping to put in a few days a week (maybe 3?) for 2 hours a day for learning polish (starting to learn anyway). I want to be able to work with someone on this who is patient, who speaks english very well, as I don't speak polish at all and who is willing to do this at a reasonable price.

I have friends in Krakow, Poland that I visit regularly. Even though they speak English, I still want to learn Polish so I can talk to their families and other people who dont speak very good English. Also so I can join in with conversations and they dont have to translate for me all the time.

I have grown up in a household where Polish was spoken, but never learned it, although I understand a few things. However I never learned how to read or write it, nor do I know the tenses.
I really want to get in touch with my Polish heritage (half Polish/half German) and go and visit my family (mother's side) back in Poland.
I would like to start off once a week for one month and see how it goes.
I would like to find a patient person who listens and answers questions in a friendly manner.
