I want to learn to speak English because I just moved to America and I have trouble with everyday conversation. My husband is American. He is writing this paragraph for me. My proficiency level is beginner/inte rmediate. The areas that I feel I need improvement are conversation and grammar. I would like to dedicate 6 hours a week tutor time in the beginning of my studies and maybe increase in time as I progress. I can dedicate another 6 hours a week for alone study time. The qualities I would like in a teacher would be: Amharic speaking and ability to determine my efficient learning style since I do not know the best learning style for myself.
