I have recently bought a holiday home near Beaumes de Venise. I have not studied French for over 50 (!) years but I would like to brush up what French I do still have so that I can communicate in every day subjects at a basic level. I have recently had the excellent experience of share housing with 2 French gentlemen and would like to learn the language for myself. I feel it could also be useful as an extra skill when making applications for work or should I travel to a French speaking location. I would be a beginner level student and would like to learn to read, write and speak the language. I am looking to study 3 times a week for at least an hour per session. I am looking for someone who speaks the language natively and who is patient. I have no idea if I have any aptitude for language.
