I have been doing french since year 7 in highschool, but i feel im not that good at it. I know some small basic things but i really want to learn how to converse properly and much more fluently in french.
I need more improvement in all areas of french, i want to be able to conjugate verbs better, learn more words and such. I'd like to do french lessons once a week.
I look for patience and understanding in a teacher, someone who won't get all angry and impatient because i can be a bit of a slow learner.
I don't mind where i learn, it can be at my home or anywhere else.

I am a beginner. I wish to learn Croation as my partner is from Croatia but is hopeless at trying to teach me(typical male, no patience). I would like to learn how to speak and understand the language, but not necessarily know how to write it. We are travelling to Croatia mid 2007 and I would like a basic understanding by this time so would dedicate as much time as it takes. I am looking for a teacher with patience and understanding that as an 45 year old Aussie, it might take a bit to get me used to the different pronunciation of words.
