I do Japanese Continuers and Extension and I'm in year 12. I am striving to become a Japanese teacher and I need the best marks possible to get into university. I need to improve my listening and speaking skills, as well as do the best I can at reading and writing. At least an hour and a half a week, as well as my class lessons, would help me become the best I can at Japanese. I used to teach ESL in Japan and spoke excellent Japanese, including writing Hiragana, Katakana, and about 1000 Kanji. Since I came back to the US in 1998, I haven't used my Japanese regularly and would like to brush up on my conversation skills and vocabulary. I am looking for a tutor who is a native Japanese speaker and who will be willing to teach me approx. one session per week. I live on the East Side and will pay gererously.
