I have moved here from the US and do not speak the language. I would like to learn some Tamil to communicate with the people who work in my house and generally to understand when people start speaking Tamil around me. So I'm interested in conversationa l Tamil only, not reading or writing (yet). I'm a complete beginner and ideally I would like to spend an hour a day learning Tamil. I would like a teacher who won't laugh at my pronounciatio n and who will help me in learning the Tamil I need to get through my day (ie, speaking to my driver or my maid).
