I am a beginner in Spanish but I do have some knowledge. I am interested to learn Spanish/a foreign language because firstly, I wish to get enhance my skills for the future, but most importantly, to fulfill my inclination to learn about other cultures. I have had a few spanish friends in the past and they have been the most warm and exciting people at the same time. Their food to their siestas to their football hoolygun songs have always stayed with me, and I still humm them to this day. I wish I was born a Spanish person, or wish that I knew this language so that I could work and travel across Spain or South America.
Tim e is the key factor here. I work all weekdays and alternate saturdays, but I am willing to dedicate all my freetime to it. From my holidays to all sundays, and it would be great if I could find a teacher who would not only teach me the language but also help me immerse in the culture although the latter is not absolutely necessary. I can do that at a later part in my life by possibly buying a house in Spain.
