I have always been interested in languages and especially French. I want to be a primary teacher and would like to be able to specialise in French so I can also be able to teach another interesting language to students and be able to share my passion of the French language and culture with many more people. I am currently in high school and studying higher French which I am finding a challenge especially after thinking the standard grade course was quite easy. I feel I need improvement in all areas and i find learning tenses very difficult. I would like to dedicate a few hours a week to learning French especially with a tutor as I find one to one with someone is easier. I would like for my tutor to be able to not only teach me French but also tell me about French culture because I think I will be more interested if I know more about France and I also love to learn about other countries.

I have previously studied French for 5 years at secondary college back in Ireland. I also attended a school in France for 3 weeks on an exchange program.
Unfortunate ly I have not maintained it since graduating. I feel there are career development opportunities for me if I were proficient in either French or Spanish. I really am looking for a refresher course, where I can firstly try to get back to where I used to be and secondly develop a more technical vocabulary for a work environment.
The lessons I am looking for would be preferably focused on communication skills and grammar. i was never good at languages at a younger age, so i need a teacher that can encourage me to speak in French.
i think 2 hours a week would be a good start, either 2 hours a session or 2 one hour sessions
