I'm a beginner at all the languages I want to learn. There is no practical purpose for my desire to learn, really; I simply want to. However, I do see practical benefits like being able to converse with people around the world, and being able to read foreign texts in the original language. I suppose you can't truly judge Sartre's or Voltaire's or Rilke's or Homer's works if all you've read are the English translations.

In January i left home to persue my career as a ballet dancer, i toured Europe for 6 weeks and then took up an apprenticeshi p with The Semperoper Ballett in Dresden, Germany, As i had no plan of where i would be living i did not learn any german before i left. I will be comming home in July in the summer holidays and would like to do some german lessons while I´m at home for about a month. I´m dancing full time over here and performaing at night, which has made it impossible for me to join a german coarse over here. I have organised to join in one class a week for the next few months before i return home but as i joined half way through the semester, i struggle to keep up in these classes. Eventually i would like to be able to speak German and i will continue to do my best to pick up as much as i can. As i have said im looking for a teacher who can teach me some basic german for a resonable price a few times a week for 1 month.
