I am a beginner in korean, and I would like to learn it because I am half-korean and want to become more involved in my culture. Also, a lot of my family speak korean so it would help with communication . It could also come in handy later in life, just like Chinese and Japanese. I am also very interested in their culture. I don't have any specific area that needs improvement, as I know little of the languages altogether. I would dedicate a lot of my time to my lessons to learn as much as possible, as I am eager to learn. There aren't any specific qualities I am looking for in a teacher, although I would like it if they put in as much as effort to teach me as I do to learn.
