Hello,
I just returned from Budapest with a church group teaching at a sports camp and ESL study course. I plan to return to Hungary in November to continue volunteering at this church. I am a beginner and I am looking to just learn the basic pronunciation s of the alphabet and some key phrases and sentances to help me in daily living. I would like to have a tutor lesson for perhaps 2 hours per week. I am looking for someone who is patient and knowledgeable about the culture as well as the language.

I have a basic level of Hungarian, learnt on 2 trips to Hungary and by self-study. I am a 16 year old female looking to aquire conversationa l hungarian skills to communicate with hungarian relatives and friends. my main goal is to learn to speak and write at a intermediate level. I'm willing to dedicate a few hours per week (weeknights or weekends, as i attend class during the day) i am at an advantage because my father and best friend are both able to speak fluent english and hungarian, so i can practise with them. as far as costs i'd be willing to pay $200.
