Dear Sirs, My wife and I have been appointed by the African Inland Mission to the southwest Lake Victoria area of Tanzania. I am a physician/chu rch planter and my wife is an elementary school teacher here in the US. I am 54 and she is 50. We plan to attend orientation in Nairobi in late June,2008 then would like to proceed to full-time language school at you facility in mid-July if possible. We would expect to be there for 3-4 months and will be beginners. We would like to become proficient as soon as possible so that we can get started in the field as long-term missionaries. We would like the teacher to be dedicated to helping us accomplish this goal efficiently as well to become familiar with the peoples of Tanzania and their culture. Thank you.

I am a Beginner in studying Russian. I can read & write cyrillic, speak survival Russian (how much, where is, etc...) and conjugate some verbs. I have been self-learning for two years and recently returned from a two week language immersion in Moscow.
I' m learning Russian because I have an interest in Russian culture. I need improvement
I would like to dedicate approximately 10 hours a week to learning Russian, including individual practice. Ideally, I would like 1-2 hours of lessons each week.

I am a beginner--tho ugh I do have some CDs I've been listening to.
I will be working with a university and some public schools in Japan at the end of August.
I would like basic conversation but also need specialized school/educat ion vocabulary (pedagogy, curriculum, strategic planning...et c)
I would be able to dedicate at least one day a week in June and two days a week in July or I can cluster a few days together or do several evenings in one week, if needed.
I am 51 years old so I will need someone patient. But I am motivated to learn and have had success with learning languages in the past.
