I have been studying Japanese for about a year and a half. I have been learning through books, music, internet. I am trying to learn Japanese so that I can go to Kanazawa art school. I will dedicate as much time as it takes to learn. I want my teacher to be from Japan, or someone who has lived there for at least a couple years.

I' m coming along in grammar, but conversation is where i am severely lacking.

I have no prior exposure to sign language. I have a 5 year old daughter who just began learning sign language at David Lubin Elementary, as she recently has been diagnosed with significant hearing loss. I want to learn sign language to improve the quality of our communication . She is able to talk and is somewhat mono-tone. She has been learnng sign language little by little and I would like to learn with her. We are a single, low income family so it has been hard for me to find classes I can afford. If you could please contact me with any suggestions or options I would GREATLY APPRICIATE IT!
