Hello. I am very interested in taking Croatian lessons from you. My husband is from Croatia and we plan on moving there in the nest 3-5 years. I have started learning a little from a CD program but I would like to actually learn in a classroom setting from an experienced tutor. I would eventually like to speak Croatian fluently, however at this time I would just like to be able to carry on general conversations with his family in their native language. Depending on the price, I would like to devote several hours a week to learn the language. I would like a tutor who is fluent in Croatian as well as English, with great patience and teaching skills. I am an absolute beginner in Hungarian, and I am looking for a tutor. I've been unable to find one locally, and so I am now seeking someone who will deliver lessons via the Internet.
I am very interested in learning this language, simply because it is quite beautiful and I feel quite an attraction to it.
I am willing to dedicate as much time as necessary to learning. I am a graduate student and familiar with the rigors of serious study. I have also learned and taught languages before and I am used to the dedication required.
I am looking for an instructor who has patience (especially with my atrocious pronunciation ) and a sense of humor. I would like someone who is organized and who maintains a good level of contact. I would also like someone who enjoys grammar as much as I do.
