I currently have no experience with the Japanese Language besides basic greetings. I want to learn Japanese because i find their culture and lifestyle fascinating and so much different from western lifestyles. Since I have such enthusiasm for the Japanese I plan to travel to Japan and study abroad there as well. I am willing to dedicate about 4-5 hours a week to learn the language. I would like to be somewhat fluent by July 2009. In a teacher I am looking for someone that integrates lessons into everyday life, teaches me about Japanese culture, and makes lessons fun and interesting.

I would like to speak spanish. I took Spanish years ago in highschool. I believe I am an intermediate beginner with Spanish.

Salamu, I am a young African living in American who wishes to recapture part of my culture heritage. My first step in this long, but meaningful journey has been taken, with me selecting Swahili as the first language i wish to learn.
I have already starting studing on my own with a book/cd series called Teach yourself. Currently i am a novice/beginn er who wishes to master the language in its entirety.
I would prefer teacher who is a native speaker of african orgin. Someone who has a working knowledge of the customes and cultrue of eastern Africa.
