I am going back to Thialand this summer, and I want to polish-up my skills. I lived there for a few months after the tsunami, when I coordinated a relief trip for a University, and I'll be going again for two months into the north country to help rebuild communities in a very poor area. So, I can say some phrases, but nothing beyond casual conversation. I can only understand Thai when it is spoken slowly. I am confident that with an instructor and an intense plan of study, I would be make significant progress shortly.

I am interested in learning sign language... I have a 9 month old daughter who is able to hear but I want her to learn sign language to expand her world. I do not know sign language either so we are both learning at the same time. I am learning words but putting them together just doesnt make sense to me. Is there someone out there who would like to donate their time, sesions in a park or some place others might like to learn. There arent many places for sign language and as far as I'm concerned its a language too.
