I am capable of holding a few short and simple conversations . What I need is lots of vocabulary and sentence structures. I also very much want to learn to read and write Chinese characters. I can recognize maybe 100 basic characters, but I have never practiced writing so I can't write them very well, if at all. I'm also open to the idea of learning Cantonese someday, but I want to focus on retaining my current knowledge of Mandarin and increasing it. I would prefer one-on-one tutoring as I learn at my own pace. I usually ask a lot of questions based on what I want to know how to say, so I hope that any time-based curriculum is loose and open. I currently do not have a set schedule, so I would like to schedule a common time to meet with a teacher to see if we are right for each other. I am very eager to hear from native speaking teachers of Mandarin living in Philadelphia.

My proficiency level is beginner, and I would like to learn Mandarin for personal satisfaction. I've never taken a class in Mandarin; therefore, I will need to be introduced to the fundamentals. I am learning Hebrew for my own personal knowledge. I am a beginner, but I do have some basic knowledge of Hebrew grammar. Also, a good amount of vocabulary and I can construct small sentences. I would like to have frequent classes/lesso ns every week. At least 3 times per week. With a tutor who can meet me in person. Finally, I am seeking to become somewhat fluent via tutoring.

I am a beginner. I want to learn Japanese because I want to move to Japan next year. I work 7am-6pm Monday through Friday. I would like to take classes in the evenings during the week. I am a beginner, I know a little here and there but not so well, I would also be interested in learning french soon after, But I wish to take it one step at a time. I am interested in learning a secondary language because I feel its imperative in the workforce, social settings, and in the business that I have, I am finding the more I am fluent in other languages, the more clientele and wider range of client areas I can exceed to.
