I have traveled to Slovakia several times as a missionary. I spent three months there this summer, and fell in love with the people, and the country. I wish ti learn the language to help improve relaitonships , and possibly live there one day. I am seeking a teacher that will provide conversationa l Slovak lessons at lesson 1-2 times a week.

I am a 78 year old male with a Slovak heritage. I have located and visited my father's birthplace in Slovakia and want to expand my search there, but I want to have some ability to converse in Slovak. My parents spoke slovak when I was young but they did not want us to learn the language, so i am a beginner.
I am retired and have a great deal of flexibility in controlling my time.
I prefer to study with a teacher who is available within in a modest distance eg.30-40 miles.

A beginner in Slovak, however I travel to Slovakia often and speak with native Slovakians daily. I have the time to dedicate to an intensive program as I would like to progress quickly. My girlfriend and family are from and still live in Bratislava and would like to enhance my language skills in Slovak for casual conversation as well day to day living while in Bratislava.
