Currently I do not know any Chinese, so I am a total begginer. I travel for business every week, but am in Orlando Thursday thru Saturday. There is plenty of time for me to study while on the road, so I figure I can devote at least an hour a day to it.

I studied some french in college but was not able to devote enough time to be fluent. I want to learn french because Because I did enjoy the french I did study, and when I go back to France I would like to communicate on my own. I remember some but I would consider myself elementary, but I still remember some. I am able to devote a few hours a week in studying and practicing my french.
The qualities I am looking for in my teacher is enthusiasm and patience. Now in my lessons I would be looking for good productivity with meaningful assignments and practice.
