I'd like to learn Arabic, because I am interested in the Arabic culture and Islam (as a philosophy).
My way of learning languages is through the written word, which is the only way I can remember new words. That's why a conversationa l 'survival crash course' is not for me.
I'd need to start from the very beginning: the alphabet, reading simple books written for children etc and to work my way toward more complicated stuff.
My goal is to be able to READ Arabic; understanding spoken language would be my second priority.
I would be interested in taking a course in German, which I had been force-fed for 10 years in school. I do think that some of that stuff got stuck in my head, so I could probably pick it up with a minimal effort, or so I hope.

i like learning new languages, and the one language i want to learn right now is Korean, and hopefully i can also use it in the future, to socialize. I have learn other languages too, and i think i'm not a fast learner, but as long as i'm there to learn i'll put in effort. I've heard people speak Korean, and watch movies on it, but i believe i'm still a beginner at this language. I'm looking for a teacher that's honest, enthusiastic about their work, and is willing to teach any student.
