I am currently take a Japanese class at De Anza College but the professor is teaching too fast and I cant catch up. Another problem is that she doesnt know english very well so most of the time she cant answer my questions and she cant explain things clearly.

In school I studied Attic Greek and fell in love with the language. I want to read my bible in Greek and Hebrew. Another language goal of mine is to read Homer as well. I had learned about half of the basic Greek grammar when I discontinued my classes. I have forgotten much of it, but expect to pick up the concepts easily upon review. I have never taken Hebrew. Other languages I have studied in the past are Latin, Old English, and Turkish. Thank you for your time.

I am an intermediate speaker of spanish. I studied abroad in 2003 in Costa Rica, but I struggle with vocabulary and fluency. I did not study abroad that long. I am learning the language for career advancement. I work for a spanish organization and I am limited in my spanish speaking. I lack confidence. I need the most improvement in conversation and grammer and vocabulary acquisition. I need to learn ways to learn the language well, and to remember vocabulary. I would like to dedicate one night a week to this study. I would like for my teacher to be patient, but have creative ways of teaching. someone with high expectations, that will push me to learn and use the language.

A group of 4-6 people working for an international development organization are interested in learning Croatian/Bosn ian/Serbian.
