I am a New Zealand woman who has been in America now for about 2 years. I have recently been able to start work and find that I will need to speak about 2 more languages if I would like to advance in my career path.
The languages that I wish to take up are Japanese and Spanish. I live in Japan for some time so I have basic knowledge of the language. I am also wanting to speak spanish as I think in America this would be very helpful.

My proficiency level in learning the Italian language is beginner. I have always wanted to learn Italian because my family has a strong Italian background. My sister took a class in it in college but gave up because it was too hard. I want to dedicate a few hours a day to learning the language either in a class or with a private tutor. I would like to learn so that I can take trips to Italy and be able to interpret everything and have intelligent conversations with them. I know little Spanish and I hear that it is somewhat like Italian. I am looking for a teacher who is patient, sophisticated , and really willing to help me.

Beginner - Both my sons are age 16 and 13 and I their mother feel it is very important for them to take spanish. The area of most importance at this time is conversation. I would like for Sean and Shane to take at least 4 hours a day starting in Jan 2006. Hopefully you have a family package to offer. The qualities I would like for the teacher to have is just to be as dedicated as my sons to the learning process and to be honest.
