I have never learned sign language before (other than memorizing the signing alphabet when I was little, but that doesn't really count). I am not deaf, but I have a good friend who is, and I'd like to learn sign language so I will be able to sign with her and with other deaf members of my community. I'll dedicate as much time as needed to learning, as long as I can continue to improve. I'd like a teacher who is fun and outgoing, so he/she will be able to laugh with me when I make silly errors, but be serious in helping my progress. I'm open to taking a class with multiple students or doing one-on-one, as long as classes are taught in person.

i can speak and understand basic cantonese and would like to become fluent. I need to improve my conversation and am less interested (at least now) in reading/writi ng. French: Beginner: want to learn because I have always been interested in learning French. Now I have time for some extra activity and I really want to study French.
I can dedicate to go to a course twice a week. I will definitely some time at home studying in between classes.
I want a substential class, not an fast and introductory class that tourists want to take before they travel to somewhere new. I want to know the basics, not some practical expressions.

My name is Carolina Aleman and I am a college student in Dallas. I am very interested in learning Italian first of all because I think it's a beatiful language. I already speak a second language which is Spanish. I am planning a future trip to Italy this year around August and I want to be able to atleast communicate some how.
