I need to improve conversation and vocabulary in particular.

Dear Mr. Idris--
I am hoping that you are still taking students for study of the Arabic Language. I studied three intensive semesters of Arabic at Washington Academy of Languages, and am interested in continuing my studies. I am studying language to addend my career ambitions which are in the realm of international development/p olicy analysis, but am genuinely interested in language, and the process of learning languages.
I need about an hour a week, only, with a set of homework. Basically I need to do some upkeep. I would probably try to ameliorate my Arabic, then go into an intensive course over the summer to accelerate my learning.
This is my plan of attack. I learn best by understanding the roots and the ways that they can be altered to form different parts of speach. I think Arabic is a very logical and poetic language, and I am interested in the insight this gives me into the minds of those for whom it is the maternal language.

I have studied the Italian language for the past 5 years; I am still a beginner due to the fact, that I've only studied on saturday morning; I have helped myself with tapes, books, and a few college classes to try to bring me up to speed. I can speak basic beginner italian, not very well I might add, I always say i speak broken italian, but i would like to be able to speak more italian in past and future tenses to be able to carry on sentences a little bit more in depth than a simple sentence. thank you for your help.
