I can speak only a few words in Japanese so I am a beginner. I would like to learn Japanese because I would like to go into Inernational Business dealing mostly with Japan. I would also like to visit Japan on business and vacation as well. I need work in all areas of conversation, grammar, etc. I am flexible with my lesson hours and I will work hard. I would like to have a teacher who has as much fun teaching the language as I would have fun learning it.

There are 2 of us interested in learning Gujarati. My parents spoke it in the home when I was young, however I cannot speak it. I understand it quite well. My boyfriend wants to learn and he is a native English speaker, and doesn't speak it at all. We would like to learn it because I am Gujarati. We both would like to speak it conversationa lly. We are looking for Weekday evening classes or possibly Weekend morning classes. Wee prefer weekday evening. We would like to find a teacher who would like to teach us both together even though one of us does know a little bit. An ideal teacher would be one who has a passion for language and for teaching languages!

Proficiency Level - late beginner (I took a course in China last fall which focused in on grammatical principles and introduction to reading and writing rather than extensive vocabulary).
Why learning - I am learning to be able to communicate in Mandarin. My future career is likely to be East-Asia focused.
I need to practice conversation, grammar, and writing, as well as increase my vocabulary. I can study well on my own, but with language, the only way to learn it is to speak with native speakers.
Time - I would like to dedicate one or two hours a week to lessons, with a 3-4 hour private study workload to supplement the lessons.
