My husband and I have adopted three boys from Estonia with the most recent being 7 years of age. He is fluent in his language and I would like to keep it that way. I want all my boys to know their heritage and language and be able to share that with people when they get older. I can talk to them in short sentences but am unable to communicate more than a simple thought. I would love to get deeper into the language and pass it on to my boys.

Intermediate, not yet fluent.
I am learning English to open the world up to me. It is the language of the world, will help me with any career, and is required for schools.
Conversat ion and vocabulary are my main areas for improvement, along with fluency.
I would study all day. It would be my primary activity.
In lessons or a teacher, I expect organization, clarity, patience and an ability to adapt to the speed (fast or slow) that I would go through any particular lesson.

I have just received a Master's Degree in Public and International Affairs, and have always regretted not knowing another language.
