I am a 14 year old beginner who wants to learn a foreign language so I can have a better chance at getting into a really good colledge and i would like it to give me a wider selection of career options. I don't know any Japanese so I hope to be able to learn all the basics such as grammer, conversation alphabet, etc. I would dedicate at least 30minutes to 2 hours at each lesson. I am looking for a teacher who will help me with each lesson until I fully can understand it and not just speed through it at there own speed.

I want to learn Japanese because I will be to Okinawa in a few months. I lived in Mainland Japan for two years and have a small vocabulary and a small understanding of the languauge structure and a good understanding of the culture. I didn't really have enough time to learn the language when I was there the first time because of a hectic schedule and I would like to get a good head start before returning to Japan. I can dedicate 5 hours a week for study and about 2 hours a week for actual lesson with a tutor. I would prefer to be taught by a person of Japanese/Okin awan origins and someone familiar with the culture of Okinawa.
