I am wanting to learn Croatian in hopes of completing a certification course for TEFL. It's a program that allows people to teach English out of the country. I am definitely a beginner, but I tend to grasp things fairly quickly. I would need to be proficient in all areas of the language. As I've stated already, I am planning on taking a certification course which would require me to be so. I want to dedicate at least 2 days out of the week for learning Croatian, the rest I would spend on my own time studying. I would really enjoy it if my teacher would assign homework assignments along with the lessons and review. I would also like it if they possibly had their own materials handy to teach from; not necessary though. Or at least direct me on what/and how I should be learning the language. Thank you.

My name is Helen and I have been trying to learn Swedish for a few years now. I am married to a Swede but we have had a hard time trying to accomplish this. I need outside help. I would consider myself a beginner though I have some knowledge and can read a bit. I would like to start at the bottom though. I have been using Rosetta Stone, Plumsleur, etc. I have a word basis but just can't seem to expand from there.
