Hello, I am a seventeen year old boy who would like to learn the Greek language. I am quarter Greek and i wish i could be more, but that wasnt my choice.
My yaiyai's maiden name was Mastoris before she got married and she was the last lady in my family to carry it on. She could not, so i am going to do it for her. She past away before i had a chance to know i was going to do this, but i hope she is proud of me. The reason I want to learn is because i feel it is my job as a Greek and a grandson to do so.
I would like to learn every apect about it and would like to be able to,
1. Visit Greece and be able to converse with my family i never knew.
2. Teach my younger brother and older sister as much as i can about what i am learning.
an d 3. make a friend, even an older friend, that i could learn more about my nationality from.

I am a beginner in both languages.(I am fluent in Spanish and English)
I wish to learn Korean, Japanesse and Maderine (eventually. I am a Marketing major and currently those three languages correspond with the three of the leading countries in manufacturing .
I'll be honest Im a fast learner and I pick up grammer quickly, and I learned to read some German and understand some when you speak it to me but the conversationa l part is really hard for me. Since it was hard for me in German I expect that it might be the same with Korean and Japanese.
Im starting classes again in January (full time) and I work work thirty hours a week. So my Lesson would be best if one was on the weekend (in person) and two via email/msn in the evenings, I can use my breaks at work to study and at night.
In my teacher Im looking for someone patient, I tend to ask a million questions until Im sure I understood it perfectly.
S omeone who my lessons have to mean as much to them as they do to me. Someone respectful, and I tend to get along better with people who are my senor verses someone closer to me age (I tend to feel shy) Lesson would be for me although my sister has expressed an interest in learning as well.
