I'm a beginner in Portuguese... I want to learn and eventually become fluent in Portuguese because it's a beautiful language and I feel that everyone should at least be bi-lingual. I also hope to learn Brazilian-sty le portuguese because I'm planning a trip to Rio next summer.

No proficiency in Mandarin. My husband and I are adopting a 5 year old boy from China (Rui Lei). He speaks no English--we speak no Chinese. We would like him to continue to speak to language as well as learn ours. We need to learn Chinese.
W e would like to learn how to speak mostly, but also how to read and write. We would like our son to continue in his character studies and be proficient in Chinese grammar; pin yin and characters.

I am a PhD student at Temple University and am looking to continue my study of Japanese language during the summer months.
Last summer I participated in an intensive summer study at The Ohio State University.
We used Japanese: The Spoken Language level I texts, by Noda/Jorden.
I am interested in a private tutorial session with a native speaker. I would like to meet at least two times per week, my schedule is relatively flexible.
