I would have to say I am a beginner. I spent one month in Germany and got some basics. I want to learn German because I now have a German Girlfriend that speaks both languages, but her family does not. I would like to focus on conversationa l German. I would like a lesson at least 1 time per week. It would be nice if the teacher had a good sense of humor.

My profiency level in Spanish is much higher than my RUssian. I would like to possibly be tested for my appropriate level of learning so that I can be challenged in class. My goal is to use my Spanish in a position as a translator .
