Hi, I have never learned Portuguese before. The reason why I aware to learn Portuguese is because I am going to travel around Europe and also some South American countries soon and I think that learning Portuguese can also be a new experience to me. I would like to spend about 2 month, 1~2 days a week, and about 2 hours each session for the lessons. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and passionate.

Beginner student.
My first purpose of learning Portuguese is that I love Brazilian music, and have listened for more than 10 years, I have been always interested in learning the language,so I understand the lyrics.
I would like to have a class at least once a week.
I prefer Brazilian teacher to Portuguese teacher since the above reasons, but I would be happy as long as the teacher is a native speaker.

My husband and I have studied Spanish at Seneca College for several years up to Level 3, but after this level Seneca never seems to have sufficient students for classes at higher levels. We would like to continue learning conversationa l Spanish as we enjoy traveling in South and Central America every year. My husband is a family physician who did some volunteer work in Guatemala last year and would like to do more such work in Latin America this needs more 'medical Spanish'. I am a Speech Language Pathologist who occasionally works with Spanish speaking clients. We would be interested in a 2-3 hour lesson once a week and can certainly practice on our own in between lessons. We are most interested in being challenged by someone who will conduct lessons and conversation only in Spanish ( no English unless we are desperate!) as we have had teachers who spend too much time explaining things in English. We are willing to drive from Stouffville up to 45 minutes away but no further than that.
