My proficiency level is absolutely that of a beginner. I would like to learn spanish with a friend of mine for personal improvement and enjoyment, and to better understand the latin culture. I think we could dedicate approximately 2 hrs of lessons per week, with more personal practice time of course. The qualities we would appreciate most in a language teacher might be patience and an easy going nature, we would need the lessons to be light and relatively simple as we are both new to the concept of learning a second language. We are both in our early 40's and hope to travel to locals in which spanish would be spoken. Thanks for your time and consideration .

My partner and I are looking for a private tutor to learn European Portuguese. We are not interested in learning Brazilian Portuguese as my partner's relatives live around Lisbon. There's the possibility that we may spend our vacations in Potugal.
We are absolute beginners and are committed to taking lessons for the long term until we have reached a decent level of fluency. We would like to meet once a week and we are very serious about our dedication to learning the language.

I've learned a few things in Cantonese already but I would like to further my knowledge so that I can be more coherent in the language as well as read/write it.
