I know the alphabet very well, and a few conversationa l words, such as: is, are, the, wait, don't, sorry, thank you, ect., so I think I'm in the middle of a beginner/inte rmediate level. I am interested in learning more because my step brother is deaf and I want to be able to communicate better with him and his friends, and for personal activities. I feel I need improvement in conversation and learning more of the language. I can dedicate a few hours a week rigth now to lessons. Looking for friendly, outgoing teacher!

I am a beginnger that is enthusiastica lly willingly to learn Japanese. I'm currently attending Westwood College (which is like a trade school) and they do not offer foreign languages. I wish to learn Japanese to aid me in my goal of pursuing a career in International Business. I am intrigued not only by the language, but the culture as well. I live in Hacienda Heights and it has been very difficult to find a private Japanese tutor close to my area. I work 5 days a week and go to school all day (7:30am-4pm) every Tuesday and Thursday. I am willingly to fit Japanese into my schedule at any cost. As for what kind of teacher I am looking for, I just want them to be patient with a sense of humor. I also like hearing stories about their experiences. I'm always open and willingly to learn more about life from another person's perspective.
