My plans for the future include getting into foreign relations with either South Korea, or Japan. Instead of waiting until college to learn, I would very much like to learn one of the languages now while I am still in highschool. Unlike most high school students-I am 100% committed to this.
The level of my knowledge is definitely at beginner-I have memorized a few hiragana/kata kana characters, and have learned a score of phrases/words , but it's nowhere NEAR enough to get me by in a conversation.
I need particular improvement in grammar and conversation.
As for time-it does not matter to me. I will spend as much time as needed to perfect my knowledge.
Q ualities for a teacher I need would be patience. I need repetiveness and a teacher who won't get angry because I do not learn instantly.

I have been fascinated with foreign languages since childhood. I became fascinated because I was also born and raised as a Buddhist and my mother spent a great deal of time around alot of Japanese people. This was very comfortable to me growing up and I travel to Japan twice a year. I am tired of my procrastinati on of learning the language and ready to learn. I have bought numerous online and cd programs to learn the language and other languages, but I think my learning would be more effective if I learned from an actual teacher instead of a computer. I am a beginner. I only know a couple of phrases of Japanese. I want to learn to speak fluent Japanese like a native speaker. I am a fast learner and believe i am capable of doing so. I will dedicate as much time as possible. A minimum of 1 hour a day is what i am ready to commit to. I would like my lessons and teacher to be of great quality with a love of teaching others.

1. I want to learn Farsi because I started learning it from my boyfriend and now I want to improve on it so I can speak to his family.
2. I'm a beginner, but I do know basic sentences.
3. Need to learn all of it.
4. A couple hours a week probably.

My husband is an Indian and I want to be able to talk to his mother in Hindi when I visit India, so I would like to learn hindi. I am a beginner but I have learned a lot of grammars in Hindi through learning from a very good book, so I know a lot of hindi grammar and sentence structures. But I would like to improve my pronunciation and conversation skills, because if I don't talk to a native Hindi speaker, I would not be able to speak well and understand when a native Hindi speaker talks to me. I will be in Chicago only in the weekends, so I would like to spend 2 hours each Saturday on one-one hindi speaking, and one hour each day on the phone on Hindi speaking in the weekdays.
I don't need the teacher to teach me too much Hindi grammar or sentence structures, I just need to speak to the teach in order to improve my speaking skills, my pronuncicatio n and my conversation skills. So if the teacher can speak to me in person every Saturday for 2 hours (any time) and 1 hour each day on the phone in the weekdays, it will be great.

I speak very little french, but have always wanted to learn. I am looking for 1-2 times per week, perhaps an hour or so long of lessons. I am willing to do homework etc. I have two degrees from UNLV. I just started sommeler school at UNLV as well. I look forward to working with someone. Thank you
