Accomodating, patient and effective I spend a lot of time in Provence and the need to increase my French proficiency was becoming stunningly obvious (using the present tense exclusively will only get you so far). However, I also travel A LOT for business and I needed someone who would be flexible in terms of scheduling so that we could continue to work together via skype whilst I was not in Provence. Elodie has never been anything but understanding and accommodating. Elodie also makes the experience fun. I look forward to my sessions with Elodie, which is an essential element for something like middle-aged second language learning. In terms of effectiveness, I learned more from Elodie in my first four sessions than a year of messing about with Rosetta Stone. As integration into my second home is my goal, I also appreciate the fact that I can ask Elodie anything about French culture and she explains nuances that, quite frankly, might otherwise be difficult to access.
