I was myself a student trying to master a foreign language. My mother tongue is French and I was in an English School to manage this language. So, by this way I know all the methods and techniques to teach a foreign language and at all kind of people. I mean, I know how to manage the weaknesses concerning the pronunciation . I know that the repetitions and the patience are the key solutions. I really think that it's necessary to get some interactive works for the students such as some games. For example: they have to work by team in a competitive atmosphere and one person in the group have to guess the word that the others people try to explain with a definition. This kind of game is very dynamic and interesting for the student and it allows to everybody to work together by team even if there are shy people. A new example is: they have to learn a poem (short) or a song. This exercise is very good for the pronunciation ....etc. |
