I always adjust my teaching methods and materials based on the level and goal. Practical grammar lessons use text document along with the examples. It will help you to practice the grammar rules in natural setting. We don’t have to do writing at whole session, we can discuss or have daily conversation to improve the speaking skill while we’re learning the writing. I will share textbooks via online to my students, I will keep instructions simple and clear, I let them listen first, I let them to drill and repeat because beginners need lots of repetition and drilling.
To help foreign speakers achieve their goal of being able to speak Indonesian fluently like native Indonesian speakers, I will use English and Indonesian in teaching at the beginning of class, and then when students start to enter level A2, I will only use Indonesian language in teaching to foreign speakers because this will enable foreign speakers to learn, understand, and speak Indonesian fluently and quickly.
I will teach and give assignments and exams via online so students must have their own laptops.
